Dr. Seely is one of the very few Clinical Psychologists available locally, qualified to do comprehensive psychological evaluations.  These evaluations provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations that assist in therapy outcomes and legal considerations.  Dr. Seely has worked in various setting and has had a wide range of experiences.  He completed his internship in Louisiana at the Central Louisiana State Hospital and has worked in behavioral, mental health, and Forensic settings.  He has provided evaluations for court, given court testimony for clients, and currently provides assessments for the Iron County Jail to help with any needs that arise there.

The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Act (effective Jan 1, 2010) gives increased benefits to those that are insured with group health plans that have previously held mental health benefits. The mental health benefits have to now equal the medical benefits for those patients, providing greater ranges of services. Recognizing the need for help is not a sign of weakness but an indication that one has the desire to change and improve and the strength to do so.  Should you have questions, need consultation, or would like to refer clients for mental health services Dr. Seely can be contacted at (435) 531-0527.
